Creative Uniques' buttons are not ceramic. They are made of top quality porcelain and stoneware. Because of this and the processes we use to make them, they are a much better, much more durable button than ceramic. We have the largest, most consistent line of buttons of this type you will find anywhere! Each one is carefully handmade and hand painted to perfection. Use them to embellish all your sewing and craft projects to add just the right finishing touch. A great feature is that they are washable on a gentle cycle with the garment turned wrong side out, then hang the garment to dry.
